Our amazing ‘Events Team’ of volunteer parents has put a “Capital C” in Community this year with two initiatives that model for our children the importance of giving, and taking care of each other.
A ‘Giving Day’ in late August saw an enormous amount of donated items from kindergarten families, go to young people in need, all gratefully received by Africause.
Wrapped in with our annual Christmas Party, the Events Team focussed further initiatives on those in need in our community.
A Christmas Raffle supporting MSFIN (Mums Supporting Families in Need) and a Christmas Toy Drive supporting Launch Housing.
The organisers were overwhelmed with the generosity of local Elwood businesses supporting our raffle through the donation of prizes.
